Freaks of Nature has released a brand new range of plant-based desserts following a £1 million investment into the company’s factory in Yorkshire.

The new range consists of a dairy and gluten-free apple crumble, as well as a chocolate fudge hot pudding and a sticky toffee pudding which are also plant-based. All products also come in a recycled and fully recyclable plastic oven and microwave proof pot.

Freaks of Nature founder, Peter Ahye, said: “Despite the lockdown difficulties we have been forging ahead. We’ve invested £1 million in additional capacity at our factory in Yorkshire so that we can expand our range of delicious desserts whilst being as eco-friendly as possible. The new sustainable packaging we’ve sourced reinforces our commitment to minimising our impact on the environment.”

Commenting on the launch Freaks of Nature’s marketing manager, Lucy Figg, said: “We are so excited to share this new hot pud, we think it could be a game-changer as no other brand is producing a really delicious plant-based apple crumble. It tastes just as good as the ones your Mum makes.

“If you simply prefer plant-based foods, you can now indulge in one of the nation’s favourite desserts.”
