Cheese manufacturer Mona Dairy has appointed administrators to “explore options” for the business.
The Anglesey-based cheese plant, which opened two years ago, produced cheeses using milk from local farms.
The company previously employed 51 people after receiving a Welsh Government grant of £3 million to build its new factory.
Mona confirmed in a statement on its website that Anthony Collier and Phil Reynolds of FRP Advisory had been appointed as joint administrators to manage the company’s affairs, business and property.
