Product entry levels are set to break records ahead of the deadline for the Meat Management Industry Awards, say event organisers.

The Meat Management Industry Awards is an annual awards initiative celebrating the hard work and innovation of the meat sector, culminating in a black-tie dinner and sparkling awards ceremony on Thursday 19th September at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

The 24th May deadline for product nominations is fast approaching, with organisers calling for meat manufacturers, producers, suppliers and retailers to enter their products into the awards.

Products can be nominated by industry into multiple categories, including: Best Charcuterie Product, Best Bacon Product, Britain’s Best Meat Pie and Best Free From Product.

Editor of Meat Management magazine, Joanna Thomson, said: “We are excited to welcome the industry back to the Meat Management Industry Awards in September, but to make it to the stage you must enter your products! You have to be in it to win it, so make sure you nominate your winning products free of charge before the deadline.

“This year’s event is set to be the biggest yet, and with the judges preparing to evaluate the hundreds of products already entered, now is the time to ensure your products are in the running!”

  • Products can be entered free of charge here.
  • Voting forms for industry colleagues and businesses can be found here.
