The 2023 Women In Meat Industry Awards are set to return next week, celebrating the industry’s best at a black-tie dinner and glittering awards ceremony.

The Awards will take place for the first time at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday 17th November, and will be hosted by journalist, broadcaster and royal correspondent Jennie Bond.
Jennie has been on a wide range of television and radio programmes, from light entertainment to documentaries. In addition to the highly successful Great British Menu BBC 2 series, she has been a presenter on two of the BBC’s most popular shows: Cash in the Attic and Rip Off Britain.
The awards will be presented by Jennie alongside Food Management Today and Meat Management publisher Graham Yandell MBE, with the highly prestigious Meat Businesswoman of the Year award given to an individual voted on by a panel of judges.
The 12 award categories are:
- Meat Businesswoman Award – Foodservice (Catering Butcher)
- Meat Businesswoman Award – Independent Retailing
- Meat Businesswoman Award – Multiple Retailing
- Meat Businesswoman Award – Manufacturing / Processing
- Meat Businesswoman Award – Craft Butchery
- Meat Businesswoman Award – Trade Body
- Meat Businesswoman Award – Wholesaling
- Meat Businesswoman Award – Poultry
- Meat Businesswoman Award – Training & Education
- Meat Businesswoman Award – Industry Supplier
- The Rising Star Award
