Voting for the 2025 Women In Meat Industry Awards has concluded and the finalists have been officially unveiled ahead of the ceremony on Friday 21st November.

Winners will be announced at the eagerly awaited ceremony in November, which takes place at the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.

The 2025 ceremony will be hosted by impressionist and comedian Rory Bremner, together with actor, broadcaster and writer Julie Peasgood.

This year saw 9,000 votes submitted to the website from around 6,000 people, while organisers report that more than 400 votes were disallowed due to multiple voting. The finalists can be viewed here.

Event organiser Libby Goodwin commented: “Finalists and winners are based on voting numbers, some of the larger industry sectors will inevitably have more finalists to reflect voting volumes and the size of the particular industry sector, and also where some candidates have tied for votes. However, the overall vote was once again very substantial and we have some brilliant finalists.”

Gwen Mostyn, editor of Meat Management magazine, which stages the awards, stated: “The response to this year’s initiative has been amazing. The Women In Meat Industry Awards continue to be a fantastic event, and we are proud to celebrate the women within the meat sector who are going above and beyond in their day-to-day roles.

“These unique annual Awards continue to engage many thousands of participants and the ceremony, including dinner and afterparty, will be another very enjoyable and important occasion. It is a special event each year when we recognise great people.”
