Manchester-based biscuit manufacturer Hill Biscuits has appointed its former head of sales to the position of commercial director as part of the company’s commitment to growth.

Tracey Meadows, who joined Hill Biscuits in 2017, previously held the position of UK general manager at Bonbon Buddies. Her career in field marketing saw her focus on brands such as Nestle Rowntree, Birds Eye Ice Cream and Golden Wonder.

Meadows said her mission was to “inspire the next generation of female leaders within the organisation”.

She said: “We’re on such an incredible journey and excited for what the future brings, it’s inspiring to see and be part of a company that celebrates diversity, values, skill, passion and potential.”

Frank Bird, CEO of Hill Biscuits, stated: “Tracey is an absolute asset and is fantastic to work with, she clearly understands the market and customer needs, her energy levels and passion are inspiring, making her the perfect choice for this senior position.

“As our new commercial director, Tracey can help shape strategies at board level such as pioneering new products, driving demand-led expansion, and championing corporate social responsibility. Here at Hill, we’re all about recognising ambition and that relentless drive to succeed, and Tracey embodies that spirit and then some!”
