Saputo Dairy UK was granted a Royal Warrant from His Majesty The King, having previously held a Royal Warrant from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for more than 20 years.

The Royal Warrant was granted to Dairy Crest Limited, which trades as Saputo Dairy UK. The company’s Cathedral City brand is currently valued at £345.4 million, growing in both value and volume over the last year, and its Country Life brand has also achieved value growth, of 22.6%. Saputo Dairy UK’s Davidstow brand is now valued at £10.7 million.

Companies that have supplied products to the Royal Household for a period of at least five years are granted the Warrant.

Commenting on the grant, Steve Douglas, president and chief operating officer of Saputo Dairy UK, said: “We are incredibly honoured to have been granted a Warrant from His Majesty The King.

“It is the ultimate seal of approval for the quality, consistency and provenance of our Cathedral City, Davidstow and Country Life brands.

“The Royal Warrant is truly valued by our employees, supplying farmers and customers who recognise the prestige of having the Royal Arms on our products.”
