UK frozen food company Nomad Foods Limited has announced the appointment of Simon Ball as president UK & Ireland, effective 23rd March 2026.

Ball will report directly to Nomad Foods CEO Dominic Brisby, and will become a member of the executive team.

Nomad Foods said Ball was a “distinguished and highly experienced” senior business leader who has held multiple leadership roles across the food and retail sectors. Most recently, he served as managing director of Ornua Foods UK and Europe, where he oversaw “significant commercial and operational transformation” and sat on the Global Commercial Leadership Team. Prior to that, Ball held senior roles at Greencore, M&S, IPL and William Jackson Food Group.

Ball will assume responsibility for leading Nomad Foods’ UK and Ireland brand portfolio, including Birds Eye, Aunt Bessie’s and Goodfella’s.
