Market research firm Kantar has revealed that supermarket prices rose across 182 product categories, while costs fell in another 89.
Ocado is to close its oldest distribution warehouse in Hatfield, which will put 2,300 jobs at risk.
Take-home grocery sales rose by 5.2% in the 12 weeks to 30th October 2022, the fastest rate of market growth since April 2021.
