British confectionary and snacks company Pladis has revealed that CEO Salman Amin has stepped down.
The company, formed in 2016, owns brands such as McVitie’s, Jacob’s, Ülker and Godiva. It boasts a global team of 16,000 across 27 bakeries in 11 countries, stating that it has the potential to reach four billion consumers worldwide.
Pladis will be provisionally run by chief financial officer Sridhar Ramamurthy, along with Tim Brett, managing director Europe.
A pladis spokesperson said: “Salman Amin has left Pladis for personal reasons with immediate effect. We can confirm Sridhar Ramamurthy, chief financial officer and Tim Brett, managing director Europe and developing markets, have assumed temporary oversight of pladis.”
This comes as the company integrated chocolate producer Godiva into its £3 billion portfolio in 2024.
