Winners of the UK Sausage Week competition were revealed yesterday [27th October] as part of a sell-out luncheon and awards ceremony at Butchers’ Hall in London.
The 2025 celebration luncheon was attended by butchers, retailers, supermarkets, manufacturers and foodservice, all involved in the annual competition or simply wishing to be part of the event.
The presentations followed a convivial drinks reception and luncheon, with Owen Taylor & Sons Ltd providing the sausages for the main course.
Meat Management magazine organises and creates UK Sausage Week each year including its annual competition and themed luncheon. The Master of the Worshipful Company of Butchers (WCB) Gwyn Howells was the VIP guest and handed out awards to each of the category winners, alongside Meat Management publisher Graham Yandell MBE.
