The shortlist of nominees for this year’s Women In Meat Industry Awards is now live at the official website and voting to decide finalists is underway.

The deadline for voting is Tuesday August 29th and is quick and easy. The 2023 candidates can be viewed at https://womeninmeatawards.com/shortlist/

Finalists will then be pre-publicised online before the 5-star awards ceremony takes place in London on 17th November, where category winners are announced, including the top accolade of Meat Businesswoman of the Year 2023.

This year the ceremony and dinner expands again to accommodate numbers and will move to the prestigious Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

Joanna Thomson, editor of Meat Management magazine, who organise and stage the event commented: “We always have an amazing night when the awards ceremony takes place – very special and unique.

“In Coronation year we are particularly delighted that Royal Correspondent and broadcaster Jennie Bond can join us to host the evening. She has some great stories and anecdotes and is a very successful woman in her own right.”

  • Meat Businesswoman Award – Trade Body
  • Meat Businesswoman Award – Wholesaling
  • Meat Businesswoman Award – Poultry
  • Meat Businesswoman Award – Training & Education
  • Meat Businesswoman Award – Industry Supplier
  • The Rising Star Award
