Independent cheese producers Wykes Farms has announced Paul Hardwick as its new chairman, with John Clothier stepping down following 70 years of service to the business.
Hardwick has been with Wyke Farms for 30 years as its finance director, having previously working at Accountancy firm, Grant Thornton.
Rich Clothier, 3rd generation cheesemaker and managing director at Wyke Farms, says: “Paul has a detailed understanding of the needs of the business, our people and our customers, he will help to provide the stability that we need in these challenging times.”
Following his retirement, Clothier will remain close to the company and step into an advisory role to help steer the family business.
