The prestigious and popular annual Food Management Today Industry Awards is now open for voting and product nominations. There are 16 categories in total and the five star awards ceremony in London, where results will be revealed, will be hosted by acclaimed chef and TV personality Michel Roux Jr.
The annual FMT Food Industry Awards recognise the hard work and excellence of food processors, manufacturers and multiple retailers across the UK food sector, as well as trade organisations, ingredients suppliers, machinery and equipment companies, foodservice, packaging, product innovations, people and training.
How to participate
The awards are in two parts. Readers are invited to vote in seven categories, while manufacturers and retailers can nominate products for entry into one or more of the nine product categories which will be judged by industry experts. The product categories for 2020 will be judged at the test kitchens located at the Harper Adams Regional Food Academy and already interest is high for what promises to be another very successful year.

Organiser Emma Cash commented: “These annual awards go from strength to strength and previous category winners and category partners have praised the ongoing initiative following the highly successful presentation luncheon earlier this year in February, hosted by TV celebrity chef John Torode.
“The 2020 awards will be presented at a prestigious annual ceremony, which takes place at the five star Royal Garden Hotel, London on Thursday 12th March 2020 and, for the first time, it will be hosted by celebrity chef Michel Roux Jr. Many of the UK’s leading companies and retailers participate and key food industry movers and shakers come together at the awards ceremony to celebrate the best of the best. The message is vote and enter your products now!”
Food Management Today editor, Pam Brook, added: “These annual Awards are always eagerly anticipated and have become an outstanding success story.
