Britain’s biggest and most important event recognising female talent across various sectors of the meat industry is gathering pace, as organisers report another outstanding response to the launch of this year’s Women In Meat Industry Awards.

Selecting category winners and then the overall Meat Businesswoman of the Year falls into three stages.

Firstly the industry is invited to nominate outstanding candidates and this year there has been a record response. Secondly, those selected for the shortlist are publicised for online voting, and at the end of the voting period the overall winner will be selected by a panel of judges from the category winners.

Thirdly, all the results are finally announced at a sparkling 5-star ceremony at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington on Friday evening 11th November.

Sharon Yandell, lead organiser of the Awards commented: “We go live for the voting very shortly and the field of candidates is outstanding again this year. We are then looking forward to a sell-out evening ceremony and this is a very special occasion which rewards outstanding female talent. An industry night not to be missed.”
