Product judging has concluded for the 2023 FMT Food Industry Awards, after evaluations took place at the Regional Food Academy, located within Harper Adams University.

With a massive selection and variety of products being analysed and considered by the judges and home economists, voting for this year’s awards in the other categories is also reported to be strong and well up on last year. All results will be revealed at a 5-star dinner and ceremony taking place on the evening of 6th June at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.

Event organiser Sharon Yandell commented: “All the results for products and voting are being collated and I know we are set for a great night on 6th June when the ceremony takes place, with a first-class dinner and brilliant entertainment. This event brings the industry together for a night of networking and fun, so that everyone can celebrate in style. With all the pressures we face in today’s market I think we all deserve it.

“We also expect to announce our VIP ceremony host very soon and I am keeping my fingers crossed that we can confirm in the next few days. If our plans come to fruition we are in for some brilliant entertainment.”

“It has been remarkable and once again we have seen many fantastic products entered, which come into us for evaluation from a wide range of leading businesses.”

Head judge, Keith Fisher.

Head judge of the annual initiative and CEO of the Institute of Meat, Keith Fisher, said he was delighted with the judging this year commenting: “It has been remarkable and once again we have seen many fantastic products entered, which come into us for evaluation from a wide range of leading businesses. It really is a pleasure to be part of the judging process for these unique awards.

“As is usual the standards are very high and competition is stiff, so the eventual winners really can feel that their products are something to shout about. I am really looking forward to the ceremony when all is revealed.”

There is currently an early bird discount on table bookings offering a substantial saving for those attending the ceremony dinner. For more information go to www.foodmanagement.today/awards.
