Packaging and processing company MULTIVAC UK has launched its new Swindon-based Innovation Centre. On 19th September, guests were invited to an event showcasing the site and featuring various keynote sessions.
The new Swindon facility, which has been under construction for the previous year, covers an area of 850 square metres. MULTIVAC has described it as a “dedicated space to run equipment of all sizes for new product development”, with the site boasting a temperature-controlled room made to replicate factory environments, a supermarket area and full processing and packaging line integration.
A number of product demonstrations and live talks were held during the launch, showcasing compact solutions and large scale machinery to attendees.
MULTIVAC highlighted that with everything under a newer and bigger roof, customers will be able to experience the entirety of the processing and packaging line without stepping foot off the site. The site facilitates product and packaging trials, allowing MULTIVAC to test products.
An Oktoberfest event concluded the evening, an homage to the company’s Bavarian roots.
