The meat industry’s biggest, longest established and most successful awards initiative is well underway and organisers report record product entries.

Both the voting and product nominations processes are still in full swing and companies and businesses working in the UK and Irish meat sectors are invited to nominate products across a range of categories online.

Graham Yandell MBE of Meat Management magazine commented: “The product nominations process for 2025 has exceeded all expectations so far. This is the biggest event in the industry and it’s great to see so many from across the industry nominating products and voting. It looks like we are in for a record year.”

Presented by the popular magician and comedian Pete Firman, the awards’ black-tie dinner and ceremony on 18th September in Birmingham will offer guests a unique opportunity to network and celebrate in style.

Products can be put forward with free entry in the following categories:

  • Best Bacon Product
  • Best Beef Product
  • Best Free From Product
  • Best Lamb Product
  • Best Pork / Pigmeat Product
  • Best Charcuterie Product
  • Best Poultry Product
  • Best Red Meat Product
