The annual initiative celebrates the work and contribution of women within the meat sector. Once voting has concluded, the 2026 finalists will be confirmed and published on the WIMIA website.
Over 100 candidates have been put forward from across the industry in a range of categories. To vote for your winners, click here.
Gwen Mostyn, editor of Meat Management magazine, which creates and stages the initiative, commented: “These awards are totally unique in recognising talent and success across the key industry sectors and in revealing what has, and is, being achieved. Now is the chance for industry to vote on who should be awarded a trophy in this year’s Women In Meat Industry Awards, which celebrates the women who contribute to all parts of the sector.
“With the online voting process concluding tomorrow evening 26th August, it is crucial that anyone wishing to cast their vote in the 2026 awards does so with urgency to ensure that their vote is counted towards this year’s awards. Every vote will count and we have some fantastic candidates.”
