Interfood Technology supplies bakery, processing, preparation, inspection, packaging and production line solutions to manufacturers across the UK and Ireland.
The acquisition brings together two established UK businesses with complementary strengths across bakery equipment, said Interfood, adding to its existing offering for bakery manufacturers.
Creeds Direct will continue to operate as a separate business under its existing name, with its own team, customer relationships and specialist focus. It said that for existing customers, the emphasis will be on familiar contacts, service and advice, with value for money “continuing to be the priority”.

Interfood stated that the acquisition represented an increased investment in the bakery sector as it aimed to support its bakery applications and day-to-day production needs. It said that the acquisition would combine technical knowledge, with support from Interfood’s service team.
James Fitch, head of sales (Bakery) at Interfood Technology, stated: “Creeds Direct is a highly respected business with strong expertise in supplying bakery equipment and sundries, and an excellent understanding of the needs of bakery producers. Its product range and specialist knowledge are a natural complement to Interfood’s existing bakery offering.
“This acquisition allows us to add complementary equipment and expertise for UK bakery manufacturers while preserving the identity, experience and customer focus that have made Creeds Direct successful. For existing Creeds Direct customers, this means maintaining the personal relationships and focus on value they know, with additional expertise and support available when needed. The businesses will continue to operate independently, with Creeds Direct benefiting from the support and resources of the wider Interfood Group.”
