Organisers of the Meat Management Meat Industry Awards 2022 are making the final preparations ahead of the annual awards ceremony for the sector taking place on Thursday evening 15th September.

After a successful in-person ceremony in 2021, which followed an online event in 2020 because of Covid restrictions, the MM Meat Industry Awards is returning again to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole for its 2022 black-tie dinner.

Recognising products, businesses, trade bodies and people across the UK meat industry, the evening will highlight winners and finalists across 20 different categories.

This year the presentations will take place as part of a black-tie dinner, hosted by America’s Got Talent winner and internationally renowned entertainer Paul Zerdin.

Commenting, managing editor and publisher of Meat Management magazine Graham Yandell said that it is a pleasure to welcome Paul back to host this year’s ceremony.

He added: “Paul was very well received back in 2015 when he last joined us and I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say that I am looking forward to seeing what he has in store for us all this year.”

Yandell added: “The Meat Management Industry Awards remains the single biggest event of its kind in the sector and after such a challenging period, getting together again with friends and colleagues to network and catch-up is always a pleasure.”
