Organisers of the Food Management Today Industry Awards 2020 lunch and ceremony, which takes place on 12th March in London, have reassured guests, category partners and sponsors that the celebratory lunch, hosted by celebrity chef Michel Roux Jr will be going ahead as planned next week.

Food Management Today publisher, Graham Yandell said: “The reassurance was issued given the somewhat disproportionate national media attention which in many sectors has been sensationalised and the resultant concerns around Coronavirus/Covid-19.

“Guests, category partners and our readers can find a statement on the FMT Industry Awards page of the Food Management Today website but I think it is worth repeating. It says:

“For the avoidance of doubt, we can reassure all participants and guests attending the FMT Food Industry Awards and Ceremony, taking place at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington on 12th March 2020 that the event will go ahead as planned.

“We are following Government and Public Health England (PHE) guidelines. As a simple precaution the hotel has stepped up cleaning and housekeeping services / frequency, with increased cleaning of often touched surfaces, and antibacterial gels are provided in communal areas.

“We look forward to a highly enjoyable and successful event in superb surroundings.”

Thanks to the FMT Awards partners:
