Evaluations and product judging has started for this year’s FMT Food Industry Awards at the Regional Food Academy test kitchens, located at Harper Adams University, Shropshire.
The panel of judges is once again headed up by Keith Fisher who is said to be delighted with the standard of entries submitted in 2022. Judges will taste, sniff, touch, view and consider a wide range of entries from right across the food processing and retailing industry.
Head judge Keith Fisher commented: “I must say that when looking at the range and diversity of products, and the companies and top brands that have entered, we have an exciting few days in prospect. These Awards are truly unique in the scope of what they cover.”
Keith added: “The judges have a big job over the coming days to select the best of the best.”
Sharon Yandell, the lead organiser for the FMT Food Industry Awards added: “It is always a thrill to receive such a brilliant selection of products from so many leading companies and it’s wonderful to be staging the judging again.
“We are also looking forward to the upgraded awards ceremony taking place as a black-tie dinner at the five-star Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on May 25th this year. A new venue for us and I know it will be a spectacular evening and a great place to network.”
