The Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA), Christine Tacon, is seeking experiences and views from suppliers and others in the sector on how the regulated retailers are complying with the Groceries Supply Code of Practice.

By completing a survey, Tacon will be able to collect a comprehensive set of views on current code related issues facing suppliers. She says it is an ‘important source of information’ for the GCA about current retailer practices and changes over the past 12 months.

The survey is open until the 29th March and answers will be collated and analysed by YouGov. Respondents are not identified to the GCA without having given consent.

Tacon said: “I urge all direct suppliers to the 13 regulated retailers to complete [this survey]. The survey has been invaluable to me to understand what the issues are that I need to work on and, more importantly, each retailer scrutinises the results to identify areas where they still need to improve.”

The results of the survey will be announced on the GCA website in June. If you have any questions about the survey, please email enquiries@groceriescode.gov.uk.
