UK’s leading comedian / magician to host 2023 FMT Food Awards Ceremony

Leading comedian / magician, Pete Firman is to host the FMT Food Industry Awards dinner in London on 6th June.

Pete Firman, who is widely regarded as the UK’s leading comedian / magician and who has received a staggering 175 million views online, is to host the forthcoming FMT Food Industry Awards dinner and ceremony, taking place at the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel, London on 6th June.

Pete is probably best known for ‘The Next Great Magician’ (ITV1), ‘Tonight at the London Palladium’ (ITV1), ‘Let’s Sing & Dance for Comic Relief’ (BBC1) and Tommy Cooper Forever (ITV1).

In 2021 Pete hosted the returning second series of ‘Don’t Unleash The Beast’ on CITV, available on ITV Hub. He has also been announced as a guest star on season 2 of the Amazon series ‘Good Omens’ due to transmit this year.

In addition Pete has just announced a UK tour of his brand  new show TrikTok for autumn 2023 / early 2024.

The Independent said that he has “The best magic tricks in the universe” whilst The Telegraph commented that Pete is “The poster boy for British Comedy Magic.”

Pete first graced television screens in Channel 5’s series ‘Monkey Magic’ and later starred in BBC1′s prime-time Saturday night series ‘The Magicians’.

His unique blend of comedy and magic has seen him invited to perform on countless TV programmes, including ‘The John Bishop Show’ (BBC1), ‘The Sarah Millican Television Programme’ (BBC2), ‘Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live’ (BBC3) and ‘The Magic Show Story’ (ITV1) amongst many others.
