The Women In Meat Industry Awards is set to break its own voting record with well over 2,000 votes received in just a matter of days covering the 2019 finalists.

Last year a total of 3,000 votes were received and this year it appears that the level of voting will comfortably exceed the 2018 figure. There are 36 finalists across nine categories and once voting completes on 5th August each category winner will be put forward for the Meat Businesswoman of the Year accolade.

This year there are 10 categories up for grabs and all category winners will be recognised at a five star awards ceremony and black tie dinner in London on the evening of Friday 15th November. To vote for your choices click here

Organiser Emma Cash commented: “We have been overwhelmed with the response, it has been amazing and there is still around three weeks to go until the final voting deadline of 5th August. It seems that the Women In Meat Industry Awards has really caught the imagination of the industry and goes from strength to strength. It all bodes well for a fantastic awards ceremony and dinner on 15th November.

“We do expect a sell-out event and we are already 70% sold for the November date, so I urge people to book early.”
