A short film highlighting some of the key moments from this year’s in-person Women In Meat Industry Awards (WIMIA) ceremony has been made available online following the ceremony which took place in November.

A picture gallery is also available featuring some of the presentations made when nearly 300 people gathered in London to celebrate exceptional and talented women.

Organisers have announced that next year’s 2022 Women In Meat Industry Awards ceremony will take place on Friday 25th November 2022 and that it will return to the five-star Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, its traditional home, for a night of celebration and networking.

Graham Yandell, the publisher of Meat Management magazine, which stages the awards, said: “We know that many of our guests welcome the opportunity to combine our special awards night with staying over in London as the Christmas period approaches. It is a great opportunity for shopping and seeing the sights.

“We were absolutely delighted with the Women In Meat Industry Awards this year and as always it recognised brilliant finalists and winners. I have no doubt that next year it will continue to grow and further establish itself as a premier and major event in the meat industry calendar.”

Lead organiser of the WIMIA Sharon Yandell commented: “It was a really great night and the culmination of a very successful promotion over several months. There was clearly a big appetite for getting together and the atmosphere was electric – as it always is.”
