The vast array of products entered into the Food Management Today Industry Awards are under the spotlight as product judging begins at The Regional Food Academy at Harper Adams University.

Head judge, Keith Fisher of the Institute of Meat said: “We’ve got off to a great start and once again the variety and innovation entered into these Awards is evident straightaway. The first morning has been interesting and the standard, once again high.”

Awards organiser, Emma Cash said: “Over the years we have had some great products and this year, once again, looks like being no exception. The test kitchen is certainly going to be kept busy and thank you to every manufacturer, retailer, foodservice operator who have ensured their entry or entries have arrived in great condition here at The Regional Food Academy. The home economists will be putting everything through its paces following the cooking and/or serving instructions to the letter.”

 

Celebrated TV chef, restaurateur and food enthusiast Michel Roux Jr. is to host the FMT Food Industry Awards presentation lunch on 12th March 2020 at the five star Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London where all the winners will be announced.
