Adelie Foods is offering its distribution network and warehousing facilities to retail businesses who may be struggling with capacity during the Covid-19 crisis.
Five depots and over 300 vehicles will be available to businesses who require additional support, as the country faces unprecedented demand as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
Adelie Foods operates a national distribution network from five depots located throughout the UK, comprising some 300 HGV and small fleet vehicles. Adelie offers six-day delivery for frozen, chilled and ambient goods.
Andy Redstone, supply chain director at Adelie Foods, said: “Food retailers are working around the clock to ensure the supply chains keep moving and the shelves remain stocked.
“We want to do what we can to support those who are working tirelessly to keep our supply chains moving and to ensure the most vulnerable receive the help they need. So, we are opening up our distribution network and warehousing facilities to any business who may be struggling with capacity to deliver at this difficult time.”
