The supermarket chain has recalled their My Street Food Patatas Bravas with Aioli Dip because it contains milk, which is not mentioned on the label.

According to a report by the Food Standards Agency (FSA), the packaging of the product does not list the relevant allergen information required. This, the FSA said, means the product is now a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

As well as recalling the product, Lidl has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. The notice explained to customers why the product is being recalled and told them what to do if they have bought the product.

The company has also contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.

The FSA has advised consumers who have bought the product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents to not eat the product. Instead, the FSA recommended that customers return the product to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
