In August, the judging panel – headed up by the Institute of Meat’s (IoM) Keith Fisher – will assess entries against a strict criteria. Speaking about the process, Fisher stated: “Entries in previous years have been outstanding and once again we are looking forward to UK Sausage Week so we can celebrate all things sausage!”

We want to see a variety of traditional and imaginative sausages, so if you think you’ve got a winning product, consider entering this year’s competition!

“Our team is always delighted to hear about all the activities that will be going on around the UK over the UK Sausage Week period and our awards lunch on 27th October at Butchers’ Hall will once again start the week off with a banger!”
