Judging for the 2026 FMT Food Industry Awards has now concluded, with judges reporting high levels of quality entries and some new and exciting product innovations.
The evaluation process of products entered into the 2026 awards programme took place over the last week in Milton Keynes (w/c 9th February), when judges tasted, considered and marked the hundreds of products that were nominated.
Head judge and a director of the Institute of Meat Keith Fisher commented: “Once again the quality of this year’s entries was exceptional. The judging and evaluation process has proved yet again that the food industry understands the importance of ongoing development, quality and innovation.”

The judging process now completes ahead of the 2026 business luncheon and awards ceremony, which will be held on Friday 12th June at the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.
Finalists that are shortlisted will be pre-publicised with the winners then exclusively revealed at the ceremony.
Commenting, Graham Yandell MBE, of Food Management Today, said: “It is very rewarding to see the ongoing support and enthusiasm that the sector demonstrates throughout the year for these awards.

“Manufacturers, retailers, foodservice, suppliers and people will be welcomed to the stage on 12th June, when the coveted awards are distributed by our celebrity host, who we shall announce soon.
