Product nominations and awards voting are currently still live online for this year’s Meat Management Meat Industry Awards and will finally close on Friday 12th June.
The meat sector’s biggest annual awards initiative is well underway and set to once again celebrate the very best across the UK and Irish meat industry.
Businesses that nominate products will then be contacted in advance of this year’s product delivery day (Tuesday 23rd June) with information covering how to send products for judging to the Regional Food Academy, based at Harper Adams University, Shropshire.
Nominating and entering products is free of charge, and businesses can submit unlimited nominations across all categories.
Product nominations can be submitted for the following:

- Best Free From Product
- Best Lamb Product
- Best Pork / Pigmeat Product
- Best Charcuterie Product
- Best Poultry Product
- Best Red Meat Product
- Britain’s Best Burger
- Britain’s Best Meat Pie
- Britain’s Best Sausage

TV chaser Paul Sinha to be VIP guest
Following a convivial drinks and networking reception, and black-tie dinner, comedian and TV quiz Chaser Paul Sinha will take to the stage as VIP guest host at this year’s ceremony in September. Click here to read the story.
Graham Yandell MBE of Meat Management magazine said: “We are delighted that Paul can be with us on 3rd September for the meat awards ceremony and dinner. He’s a very funny person, and I am sure will raise a few laughs at this year’s event.
