Entry is free of charge, and participants can enter as many products as they wish across different categories. To nominate, click here.

The 2026 UK Sausage Week categories:

  • Best Traditional Pork Sausage

  • Best Lincolnshire Sausage
  • Best Cumberland Sausage
  • Best Chipolata Sausage
  • Best Gluten Free / Free From Sausage
  • Best Chicken Sausage
  • Best Speciality Sausage
  • Best Cocktail Sausage
  • Best Frozen Sausage

Category winners will be revealed at the UK Sausage Week awards lunch at Butchers’ Hall in London on Monday 26th October. The day will kick off a week of promotional activity, running from Monday 26th October to Sunday 1st November.

The prestigious UK Supreme Sausage Champion will be selected from the various winners.

Event organiser Jenny Bullock commented: “This initiative is a great opportunity to get customers talking about sausages and to perhaps engage with local organisations, it is also a time to create local or national sausage promotions. Winning products see increased interest and often a significant uplift in business following the announcement of competition results, with all types of businesses benefitting from heightened levels of product awareness.

“For those wishing to be a part of the 2026 competition, the deadline is fast-approaching, so I would encourage you to nominate products now or before this coming Friday evening deadline.”
