The annual initiative celebrates the work and contribution of women within the meat sector, with the winners set to be exclusively revealed at a black-tie dinner and awards ceremony on Friday evening 20th November at the prestigious 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
Organisers reported that almost 10,000 votes were counted this year, while 225 were disallowed for multiple voting. To view the 2026 finalists, click here.
Olympic gold medallist Sally Gunnell OBE will host the awards ceremony, together with Graham Yandell MBE, publisher of Meat Management magazine, which organises the initiative.
Gwen Mostyn, editor of Meat Management magazine, commented: “We are really looking forward to this year’s ceremony and dinner on Friday evening 20th November. The event is always a sell-out and offers a timely opportunity to stay over in London for those who want to do so, and perhaps enjoy the Christmas festivities and shopping. Once again the dinner and ceremony will highlight many amazing people from right across the meat industry and we are delighted to stage it as a highlight in the trade calendar every year.”
Event organiser Jenny Bullock added: “Winners and finalists are based on voting numbers. Inevitably, some of the larger industry sectors will have more finalists to reflect the size of that particular industry sector and the number of votes received, or where some candidates have tied for votes. The overall vote was once again very substantial, which confirms the remarkable ongoing engagement with this initiative by the industry, and as a result we have some brilliant finalists.”
