The awards ceremony and black-tie dinner will take place at the Belfry Hotel & Resort in 2027 on 15th September, moving away from The Hilton Birmingham Metropole, where the ceremony has taken place for some years.

Graham Yandell MBE of Meat Management magazine commented: “We have outgrown the Kings Suite at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole and are taking the opportunity to upgrade the guest and partner experience by moving the ceremony event to the fantastic Belfry Hotel & Resort, based in the heart of the Midlands.

“As the meat industry’s biggest annual event, with attendance numbers growing each year, we believe that moving forward and upgrading the facilities for our partners and guests is critical to its continued long-term success.”

The 2026 Meat Management Meat Industry Awards were a sell-out occasion.

The Belfry Hotel & Resort is just minutes from the UK’s major motorway and rail networks, approximately 15 minutes from the NEC and Birmingham International Airport and Station, and only 25 minutes from Birmingham City Centre. In addition, it is only a 70 minute rail journey from central London.

The Belfry has undertaken a multi-million pound investment recently and its new conference and events centre is hugely popular and regarded as a prestigious location. It is also a world class golfing venue offering three courses and is the setting for The British Masters. The resort has also hosted the Ryder Cup four times.

Yandell concluded: “I believe that giving these awards a timely refresh is important and with uptake for partnerships already very strong for 2027 we are looking forward to an outstanding and highly enjoyable networking event.
