Supply chain specialist Gist has announced that all of its sites within its temperature controlled logistics network have been awarded the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Certification.

Gist’s newest site in EuroCentral in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, is the latest site to receive the accreditation following its recent audit.

The site forms part of the organisation’s temperature controlled logistics network, managing the warehousing and transportation of chilled and ambient food products, from manufacturer to retailer.

Scott Paton, Head of Gist’s Scotland sites, said: “We’re delighted to receive the certification which is testament to hard work of our staff at Motherwell. This latest accreditation is even more special as it now means that all Gist temperature controlled logistics sites are certified by the BRC Global Standard.”
