The forthcoming UK Sausage Week (UKSW) promotion has encouraged various planned activities across the meat industry with retailers and manufacturers looking forward ahead of the period, which takes place between 28th October – 3rd November.
Organisers report that many businesses across butchery, retailing, foodservice and manufacturing sectors will be participating in the initiative.
The week will kick off with a celebration awards lunch at Butchers’ Hall in London on 28th October, revealing the winners of the UK Sausage Week competition. The event will culminate in the crowning of the prestigious UK Supreme Sausage Champion, selected from eight category winners.
