With just under a month to go until the 2026 Food Management Today Food Industry Awards, this year’s business luncheon and awards ceremony is shaping up to be another memorable event.

The FMT Food Industry Awards is a long established and highly prestigious annual awards programme that recognises the best of the best across the UK food industry.

The lunch and ceremony will be held on Friday 12th June 2026 at the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, with manufacturers, retailers, equipment suppliers, foodservice and individuals invited to book their tickets now before they sell out.

The judging process is now complete, and a full list of the finalists that have made the shortlist can be found here.

Commenting on this year’s entries, head judge and a director of the Institute of Meat Keith Fisher said: “Once again the quality of this year’s entries was exceptional. The judging and evaluation process has proved yet again that the food industry understands the importance of ongoing development, quality and innovation.”

Luke Kempner to host 2026 ceremony

Looking ahead to the 2026 ceremony in June, actor, impressionist and comedian Luke Kempner will take to the stage to entertain guests, before revealing the 2026 category winners.

Luke’s performance credits span comedy, impressions and musicals, including a starring role in West End show Les Misérables, and he will be bringing his trademark energy to the stage at the FMT awards ceremony. Speaking about his planned performance, Luke commented: “I’m very high energy. I like everyone to have a really good time; I want this to be a party!”

Graham Yandell MBE of Food Management Today highlighted the importance of securing tickets, stating: “We have seen excellent engagement with this year’s initiative and many hundreds of product entries into the awards as well as website voting, so it’s no surprise that tickets for the ceremony are now limited!

“For anyone still looking to secure their place at the ceremony on 12th June, I would encourage them to book tickets now. As a networking event, the FMT Food Industry Awards is the perfect place to catch up with like-minded professionals and industry colleagues – it is a really important date in the industry calendar”
