The prestigious FMT Food Industry Awards are back for 2022! Product nominations are now open and processors, manufacturers and retailers are invited to put their products forward by Friday 21st January latest for judging across nine categories.

The online process is quick, easy and free. You can enter as many products as you like across the various categories.

Product delivery is then scheduled for Tuesday 8th February 2022 when the actual product judging will start at the test kitchens located at Harper Adams University. All those participating will be sent full details in advance to facilitate product delivery.

Recognising excellence across the UK food sector, the FMT Food Industry Awards is a unique annual initiative that honours the hard work and dedication of those involved in keeping the nation fed all year round.

After a challenging couple of years, and two demanding festive periods, the 2022 awards ceremony is keenly anticipated and will be hosted next year at a new venue, the five star Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, including a black-tie dinner on Wednesday evening 25th May 2022.

The major annual event returns as an in-person occasion having been online in 2021 and will offer food industry professionals the chance to celebrate their immense efforts and hard work during a special night of networking.

From Best Bakery Product to Best New Product Development, the awards champion innovation and great products across all areas of the food production, manufacturing and retailing industries. Click here to see available categories.

Lead organiser of the Awards, Sharon Yandell said: “Make sure you participate by nominating products in one or more of the categories. Winning products get fantastic PR and often see a major boost in sales, but you have to be in it to win it!”

Full details on award category specifications and how to nominate products for free can be found here. Don’t forget to nominate by the final deadline Friday 21st January 2022.
