Organisers of the 2024 UK Sausage Week initiative will welcome over 120 guests to Butchers’ Hall in London today to celebrate the industry’s best bangers.

UK Sausage Week, which runs from 28th October to 3rd November, is a week long initiative celebrated by butchers, supermarkets, foodservice and manufacturers across the industry

The week of sizzling celebrations will kick off in Butchers’ Hall today [Monday 28th October] with a sparkling drinks reception, where guests can catch up with friends and colleagues from across the sector.

Guests will be eager to hear who has won in each UK Sausage Week competition category, and to find out which banger will be crowned UK Supreme Sausage Champion for 2024.

Sausages are, of course, on the menu, with the main course supplied by butcher Owen Taylor & Sons.

Graham Yandell MBE, publisher of Meat Management magazine, who organise UK Sausage Week, commented: “It is a pleasure to launch UK Sausage Week for the first time since 2019. We are eager to welcome guests to Butchers’ Hall for the event, and look forward to seeing faces old and new in the room.”
