Organisers of the Meat Management Industry Awards 2021 are making the final preparations ahead of the awards ceremony on Thursday 9th September.

After a very successful online event in 2020, the Meat Management Industry awards is returning to an in-person event for 2021. The annual awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on 9th September at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

Recognising the best of the best in the UK meat industry, the awards will celebrate the winners and finalists across 20 different categories.

This year the presentations will take place as part of a black-tie dinner, hosted by football legend Kevin Keegan OBE.

Publisher of Meat Management magazine Graham Yandell commented: “The reaction to staging these prestigious awards as an in-person event has been outstanding this year and to be honest attendance has surpassed expectations. We still live in challenging times, but there is clearly an appetite to return to some kind of normal.

“The Meat Management Industry Awards remains the single biggest event of its kind in the sector and after such a difficult period, getting together with friends and colleagues to celebrate the very best from our great industry is always a pleasure.”

Yandell continued: “I have to say that the excitement of staging a live in-person ceremony and getting back to the established format is palpable here at the MM offices. Welcoming our special guest Kevin Keegan is also something very special. Good luck to all the finalist, we are set fair for a great night of entertainment and excitement.”
