From government advisors to frontline retail workers, people from across the food industry have been honoured in the 2021 Queen’s Birthday List.

- Prue Leith CBE DL – Restaurateur and television presenter – For services to food, broadcasting and charity

- Dr David Bernard Kennedy CBE – Director general, Food, Farming and Animal and Plant Health, Defra – For public service particularly during the pandemic
- Professor Guy Poppy – Lately chief scientific advisor at the Food Standards Agency and professor of ecology at the University of Southampton – For services to food safety and security

- Anthony John Bourne CBE – Director, Defra – Services to EU exit
- Michael Graham Rowe – Director, Marine and Fisheries, Defra – Services to EU exit and international trade

- Samantha Mary Ward Dyer – Director and CEO, Cambridge Sustainable Food CIC – For services to tackling food inequality during Covid-19
