Time is running out to nominate your products and vote in the Food Management Today Industry Awards.

A reminder that the deadline for both nominating products for entry and voting is 7th September 2018.

Every year, the FMT Food Industry Awards recognise the hard work and excellence of food processors and manufacturers, along with retailers, trade organisations, ingredients suppliers, machinery, equipment companies and many more.

The awards consist of reader voting and product entries to determine the best in the industry, as chosen by Food Management Today readers together with a select judging panel for product evaluation.

Readers are invited to vote online in seven categories:

• Food Manufacturer of the Year
• Best Ingredients Supplier
• Best Machinery/Equipment Supplier
• Best Trade Organisation
• Best Training Initiative
• Food Retailer of the Year
• Food Industry Champion Award

To vote, click here.

Manufacturers and retailers can also nominate their products for entry online into one or more of the nine product categories which will be judged by industry experts at Harper Adams University.

Head judge Keith Fisher and fellow judge Emily Ansell Elfer, part of the judging panel, appraising products for the FMT Food Industry Awards 2018.

The nine categories are:

• Most Innovative Packaging Development
• Best Frozen Product
• Best Bakery Product
• Best Seafood Product
• Best Dairy Product
• Best Red Meat Product
• Best Poultry Product
• Best Free From Product
• Best New Product Development

To nominate your products for entry for free, click here.

The awards will be presented at a prestigious luncheon, which takes place at the five star Royal Garden Hotel in London on 31st January 2019.

Next year, the awards lunch will welcome a new speaker – Robbie Glen, in addition to once again being hosted by John Torode of MasterChef fame.

Awards organiser Emma Cash said: “We have had a great response so far, and now is your last time to get involved. Entry is free online, and it is fantastic opportunity to get your products known and enjoy positive PR, so what is stopping you?

“I would urge anyone thinking about entering not to delay. Nominate your products and start voting for your category winners today!”

A final reminder that the deadline for both product entry and voting is the 7th September 2018.

To enquire about tickets and tables for the awards luncheon on 31st January call Emma Cash on 01908 613323 or email emma.c@yandellmedia.com.

Partnership packages for various categories are available and companies or organisations should contact Michelle Ingerfield for details: michelle.i@yandellmedia.com.
