UK-based JDM Food Group (JDM) has announced a merger with US company Henry Broch Foods (HBF), creating a new parent company, Jardins and Broch.
JDM, headquartered in Bicker, Lincolnshire, is a manufacturer of vegetables, sauces, dips and purees to the retail, manufacturing, recipe box and foodservice markets. HBF, with its headquarters in Waukegan, Illinois, is a spice, dry-blending and co-packing company.
Jardins and Broch brings together two ingredients companies and will create a team across both wet and dry products. The two suppliers will continue to operate independently in their home markets. Aisling Kemp will remain CEO of JDM and Greg Antonetti will continue to lead as CEO of HBF.
The parent company is backed by Sunridge Partners, a London-based private investment group operating within food, beverage and agribusiness.
