Organisers of the meat industry’s biggest awards initiative have urged the food sector to submit product nominations ahead of tonight’s [Friday 23rd May] deadline.

The Meat Management Meat Industry Awards are an annual initiative recognising the best of the best in the UK meat industry, including manufacturers, producers, suppliers, retailers, individuals and organisations.

A full category guide, detailing product nomination and voting categories, can be found here. The nomination process is quick, easy and free, and products can be entered across multiple categories.

Companies entering their products will be required to deliver products to the Regional Food Academy, located in Harper Adams University, on Tuesday 10th June 2025. The judging process will be held on Wednesday 11th – Friday 13th June, where a panel of industry professionals will judge each product against a strict criteria.

Publisher of Meat Management, Graham Yandell MBE, commented: “Entering these awards is quick, simple and free. Any food businesses that wish to take part in this year’s meat awards initiative should ensure they have nominated their products – entry is free of charge.”

The winners of this year’s awards initiative will be announced at a glittering black-tie dinner on Thursday 18th September at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, near to the NEC.
