Loma Systems has announced Ivor Milne as its new regional sales manager for Scotland.
In moving into an existing position, Ivor aims to bring many years of engineering experience to Loma, having worked for leading food manufacturers in Scotland and more recently with global coding and marking equipment supplier, Markem-Imaje UK, as a sales engineer. He will report to Loma’s international sales and service director, Ian Craig.
Commenting on the appointment, Craig said: “We are delighted to welcome Ivor to the team. He will be instrumental in helping us improve food production, quality, effectiveness and safety, as well using his hands-on engineering background to understand our Scottish customers’ current challenges and product inspection needs.”
“I’m really looking forward to the role and getting to know my customers,” said Ivor. “I am fortunate to have had a good insight into the food industry and the rules and regulations relating to manufacturing, so I’ll be well placed to understand many of the issues faced by customers and what solutions to recommend.”
