Product entry deadline extended for Meat Awards

To accommodate as many products as possible, organisers of the annual meat industry awards have extended the final deadline for products to be nominated until Thursday 18th June.

To accommodate as many products as possible and meet growing demand this year, organisers of the annual meat industry awards have extended the final deadline for products to be nominated until Thursday 18th June.

All products are entered free of charge and details of how to nominate can be found here.

Manufacturers, processors and foodservice along with butchers, supermarkets and independent retailers can now nominate their products up to the extended deadline of 18th June in one or more of this year’s categories.

Product categories available are:

  • Britain’s Best Sausage
  • Britain’s Best Burger
  • Britain’s Best Meat Pie
  • Best Bacon Product
  • Best Free From Product
  • Best Charcuterie Product
  • Best Poultry Product
  • Best Beef Product
  • Best Pork/Pigmeat Product
  • Best Lamb Product

Those nominating products will then receive detailed information on how to deliver entries to the Regional Food Academy at Harper Adams University on Tuesday 23rd June.
