UK retailer Sainsbury’s has expanded its Nectar Prices discount scheme to include meat and fish, offering up to a third off across a range of products.

The move puts the number of Nectar Prices at around 3,500, with the offers available both in store and online.

Over 18 million Nectar customers will be able to make savings across a wider range of products, lowering the cost of the weekly shop amid cost-of-living concerns.

Nectar Prices are also currently available over a range of categories, including confectionary, snacking, dairy, bakery, fresh produce and ready meals. Branded ranges such as Fridge Raiders, Peperami and Richmond sausages will also be included in the scheme.

The discounts can be seen on products such as:

  • Taste the Difference beer battered cod fillets (usually £5.50, Nectar Price £4.95)
  • Sainsbury’s So Organic skin on Scottish salmon fillets (usually £7.00, Nectar Price £4.60)
  • Sainsbury’s So Organic 20% fat British lamb mince (usually £5.25, Nectar Price £3.50)
  • Mowi Bistro Bakes salmon and cheese melts (usually £4.25, Nectar Price £3.75)
  • Wild Fish Discovery yellowfin tuna (usually £9.00, Nectar Price £6.50)
  • Gressingham half aromatic duck (usually £8.00, Nectar Price £6.25)
  • Sainsbury’s sea bass fillets (usually £7.50, Nectar Price £6.50)
  • Peperami original (usual price £2.80, Nectar Price £2.25)
