There is still time to enter your sausages into the UK Sausage Week 2018 campaign’s competition with the deadline for nominating products being 10th September.

Organisers YPL Exhibitions & Events and Meat Management magazine have already reported a fantastic response from across the meat sector.

UK Sausage Week itself will run from 29th October until 4th November and will open with a celebration lunch at Plaisterers’ Hall in London where the competition winners will be revealed.

UK Sausage Week organiser Emma Cash commented: “We have received a great response so far, and the deadline will soon be upon us so butchers, manufacturers and multiple retailers are urged not to become complacent over the summer period! Keep the entries coming, and make sure to enter your sausages in now before it is too late.”

Businesses can still enter products for consideration for free via the form on the event’s website www.uksausageweek.com but remember, the deadline is the 10th September 2018. Information will be provided to all entrants on the judging process which takes place at Harper Adams University.

The website also offers information on the various award categories and tickets for the lunch on 29th October which now has limited availability.

In addition to using the website, sausage enthusiasts can follow the progress of the campaign on Twitter: @UKSausageWeek and via the Facebook page and LinkedIn page.

For further information on entries, contact Emma Cash on emma.c@yandellmedia.com.

Some UK Sausage Week partnership packages are also available. Contact Michelle Ingerfield to find out more on 01908 613323, or by emailing michelle.i@yandellmedia.com
